This weeks words are 'Let me file that under no thanks' Ellie has spent the whole day painting circles on her dining room wall to use up all the remnants of paint she had left over from all the other jobs. She wasn't sure if she liked it, but would live with it for a while and she could always paint over it. Ellie had a shower and put clean clothes on ready to go out and treat herself to a Chinese take-away. Her friend Helen arrived and asked her if she would like to go to the swimming pool with her. Ellie's answer to that was :do I look as if I want to go swimming after the day I've had" Helen went down on her knees and begged Ellie to go with her. Let me file that under no thanks was Ellie's reply.
I am entering this in Art Journal Journey where the theme is Inspired by set by Eileen who sadly died last month. My inspiration for this page is circles. I use a lot of circles in my art journalling and textiles.

Well, I hope it was a bit warmer than it is at the moment. Brrr....
Fab circular background and great figures.
Hugs, Neet xx
Fun page and a great story to go with it. You and Neet always come up with fun stories! Hugs, Valerie
Ellie could have been a bit less snarky, but some people are just that way I guess. I love your circle background. I hope Ellie likes her wall after looking at it. Your page came out super Wendy, and thanks for sharing it with us at AJJ. Hope all is well. Hugs-Erika
This was quite clever. I love how Ellie was dressed. Of course, I love Helen's swimsuit. This was very well done, as were the circles you created for the background. Thanks so very much for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Eileen's theme. We appreciate it.
Fun background and fun images too! Ellie looks wonderful and I would go for the take out over the swimming every time! Not to sure about the circles on the wall but they look great as a background - lol! Fun stuff. Hugz
*wow* that looks so great with her swimsuit and Ellie with her great costume and her eye that shows her skeptical about going swimming with and the story is great I almost feel sorry for Ellie with her job and her emotional world!
I liked it so much again a nice Sunday greeting Elke
This is so funny - love the look on Ellie's face! Hugs, Chrisx
