Thursday Journal with Neet

What a problem I had with this one. The words are 'Life's a zoo, never feed the monkeys. I will be interested to see what Neet did with this one. I really didn't know what Dyan had in mind when she put this one on the stamp sheet.
I used a previously inked page ( Dylusion sprays) and use a circular stencil over the top. I stamped various leaves to give the illusion of a zoo and then stamped some figures including the twins who are monkeys as far as mum is concerned. One of them is crying as he isn't allowed to feed the monkeys.

As there are circles on the background "I am going to enter this in Art Journal Journey where Valerie's theme is Geometric shapes

Wonderful pages Wendy, love the layout and colours. The theme is really hard, but you did well. Love all those lovely geometric patterns in the background. Have a fun day, stay safe, and thanks for linking to AJJ! Hugs, Valerie

That animals in the leaves were a surprise Wendy. This is a fun theme you and Neet have this week. Great page and thanks so much for sharing it with us at ARt Journal Journey. Hugs-Erika

Bad back day hence the late comment. Great page Wendy - not sure who chose this one but it was a xxx to do wasn't it. Like your interpretation though. Thank goodness Dyan did some animals. We've had some rough ones to do of late and i don't see much of a let up ahead.
Hope you are keeping safe and well.
Hugs, Neet xx

That's a great zoo you have created. Lots of animals with the monkey in the center. Those poor twins. I loved this. It was clever, yet I can see why it was so hard to document the prompt. It's a lovely spread and has great movement. Thanks for sharing it with us using Valerie's theme, Wendy. Stay safe, stay well, please.

Lovely sunny colours and a difficult sentiment to deal with. Love 'Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum'!
