Life Book lesson

This one is with Laura Horn and is Watercolour Meditation. The idea was to do an abstract using the images of pebbles. As my windowsills have pebbles on the I was quite happy to do this exercise.

I am entering this in Art Every Day Month. Day 23

I love these studies of pebbles. I always came home from holidays laden with new pebble treasures.

Its a wonderful art study of the pebbles, you have so much detail of the surfaces in your painting.

I collect pebbles from my hols, too - I brought a box full back from Iona! I like the idea of having them on the windowsill, though they'd annoy me because I'd hate moving them to clean...

They would be good to really meditate on, though... they're lovely to hold in your hands.

beautiful study - and they don't look at all abstracted to me. I love collecting rocks. I went a bit crazy when we went to the lakes in Michigan. If I could have brought home the whole beach, I would have!

This is a great exercise. Pebbles is a super choice and yours came out really well. I have a bowl of pebbles and little rocks on my coffee table. They are from all over the place, and make an interesting arty collection. Happy weekend Wendy. Hugs-Erika

OMGosh, these are gorgeous. The shading you got makes them look exactly like rocks and pebbles. Absolutely stunning, Wendy. You draw WELL.
