Journal page b

Another random journal page. I am trying to do work in long deserted journals that have been sleeping in my bookshelves for ages ( read years) I really like a theme to work on, which is why these have been abandoned. I think I will find quotes and go from there, that at least gives me a starting point.
Does anyone else have this problem???

I am entering this in Art Every Day Month Day 28

Love the gentle colouring and that medieval stamp. I have several sketchbook/journals with a few pages used and then they are abandoned. I seem to run out of ideas too soon after the first flush of enthusiasm.

don´t ask how many unfinished altered books etc are laying here because of this exact problem i have, too!! and how often i decide to work on with this or that... and how other things come in the way... haha, luxury problems we have *g*!
i like this page and i´m always in awe when i spy a lynne perrella stamp... and quotes are always something i´m looking for.
have a good day:)

A super quote, Wendy. It's really good to focus on something like that and especially at the beginning of the day. Great that you're going back to old journals and using up the pages, too - I have lots of blank pages in mine - I tend to decide I don't like that format and want a change, so I move on to another. It also depends on how much journalling I'm doing! I have spells where I just don't journal at all and others where I journal loads... Hope you're enjoying your time away.

I like a theme too. I also get on a roll in a journal, and then once I move onto another roll, the journal sits unloved for awhile. This is a gorgeous piece though so I am glad you got back to this journal. Hugs-Erika

That is is a beautiful journal page. I love the focal stamp. I've never heard that quote before, but it makes perfect sense. I also really like the vintage, monochromatic background you chose, too. Overall, this is a lovely entry.

I try to have no more than two journals or altered books going at one time. I also have a tendency to finish one book before I start another. If I have a theme, I finish it faster, but if I don't have a theme, it might take me longer to complete the journal or altered book.

YES!!!! I rarely finish a journal all the way through. AEDM is always a good excuse to go back and throw something in one or more.

I love this page - are those stamps or doodles at the bottom? I REALLY like them! Such energy.

I like a prompt or theme for a journal page as well Wendy and have a few on the go at the same time.
Your page is beautiful with lovely vintage style images and colours.
