This week we are in Honduras a country in Central America just north of El Salvador. It is known for it's rich natural materials, coffee, sugar cane, minerals and tropical fruit, it also has a growing textile industry.
For the sewn one I have sewn the national bird, the Scarlet Macaw, and I have drawn the national flower, the orchid Rhyncholaelia digbyana.

Love these Wendy. Beautiful orchid and the macaw is amazing, especially when I know it is so tiny.
Fabulous inchies Wendy. I do love the texture on the parrot. Very cool! Hugs-Erika
