Collage for my homework

Again one made on printed and dyed papers made on my course with Hilary Beattie, and another homework piece. The pieces were cut to form the collage and then I stitched the gelli printed leaves on top.
I am adding this to the challenge on Art every day Month Day 17

I just love leaf shapes and this piece is beautiful. I have been tempted by Hilary's course but have no suitable working space in my flat for 'messy' work and am not sure what I would do with all the samples I might end up with. Having got rid of so much stuff before moving here I am reluctant to add any more to the stuff that came with me!

Wow Wendy. I think that course must be pretty amazing. This is another gorgeous piece. The contrast between the leaves and the background colors is amazing. Hugs-Erika

Beautiful, Wendy. Love the colours and I have a thing for leaves, so this really appeals to me anyway. Love the idea of them being stitched on.

OMGosh. You had me at sewing. The stitching added that extra punch allowing the leaves to take center stage. This is GORGEOUS!!
