I have painted a sedge warbler for Paint Party Friday this week, a widespread Summer visiter to the UK. Warblers are very difficult to recognise as the species found in the UK all look fairly similar. ( Apart from the Dartford warbler) We do have them in the garden sometimes but they are so quick you are lucky to see one.

Gorgeous bird, Wendy, happy PPF! Hugs, Valerie
Lovely. I think warblers are difficult to distinguish apart from the varieties too. Happy PPF!
Beautiful bird!
Lovely, I've never seen one.
Amazing painting or a gorgeous bird, Wendy! You painted the feathers beautifully.
