Thursday Journal with Neet

This week the words are "I'm starting to think I will never be old enough to know better"  I haven't made our life easy by choosing Vintage for my theme on Art Journal Journey as Neet and I always try to link with AJJ for our Dylusion Thursdays.                                                                                                          Amelia has been looking for Mr Right for a few years now and seems to manage to find some really nice steady men with good jobs and are smart and treat her well. The trouble is they never seem to last for very long, they either go abroad to work and don't write regularly, or they seem to drift off after a while and contact is lost. She was getting a bit concerned that there was something wrong with her and started to investigate their backgrounds, just in case it was them. It didn't take long to find out that some of them were married, and some all ready had lady friends. That was it, she would get a dog or cat for someone to talk to in the evenings, she was done with men. As she was eating her evening meal she said to herself "I'm starting to think I will never be old enough to know better"                                                                    I am linking this to my theme on Art Journal Journey for my Vintage theme.

Yes, we have used the same figure and I have all of those stamps (Non Seq and Ox Imp) except the guy at the bottom.
Yes, you have given me a headache with these challenges and I think there are five Thursdays too! But you are the one who keeps saying "it's a challenge" so no good you worrying about it. A vivid imagination is necessary (and in my case - a memory from my early teens when I knew no better than to follow the crowd).

Fabulous page, Wendy. I have already admired Neet's and yours is great, too, I love how you always find something for these themes and make it fit to AJJ, too. Thanks for another lovely piece for your challenge! Hugs, Valerie

I love how you and Neet used the same figure but came up with totally different approaches. I like how this one worked out with the letters and those handsome vintage photos too. I really expected a dog or cat image with Amelia, so thank you for the surprise. Hope all is well with you, and glad you came up with a super page for AJJ. Hugs-Erika

Sorry I am so late visiting. I have been sick for the past two days and I could barely get out of bed. Something I ate, at least that's what I hope it is. I'm marginally better today, at least.

I enjoyed seeing how you ajd Neet treated the same figure very differently. I told Neet I thought she looked like she was wearing a housecoat. I love your vintage images you added. They make your lady stand out and it fits great with your theme at Art Journal Journey, too.
