Paint Party Friday Week 27 Year 11

On Paint Party Friday I have painted a reed bunting. Not a bird you see very often apart from in and near reed beds. but very distinctive with the strange black head and white bib for the male.

Some of my dahlias:

Spot the cat. Leo hardly fits in this pot, he's so big. Why do my cats sit on my favourite plants?

I have not seen any reed bunting this season so I was pretty happy to see yours :)

Those Dahlias are pretty, stunning artwork on it´s own. :) Don´t think I have seen that one before. :)

Your dahlias are beautiful, love the curls in the close-up photo. Leo might be trying out vegetarian food. The painting of the bird is really striking. Gorgeous feathers and such a beautiful black head.
