"You go girl, and don't come back"are the rather harsh words for this week. Angela has just about had enough of her best friend Aileen, who seems to change best friends on a regular basis, Angela had always thought that one really best friend was enough, Aileen has other ideas. Aileen has organised a visit to a large garden which is hosting a painting and pottery exhibition. They have both been to classes in the evening after work on the subject and they are both passionate about painting and pottery. Angela has done a lot of watercolours recently and would love to see other peoples work to get a feel about the standard of her own pieces. As she is so upset that Aileen is going with someone else, and says " go girl, and don't come back" She knows she is being childish, but the words just came out. Angela has also vowed that the last place she will go to this weekend is the garden and exhibition. There will be other exhibitions and she will go to those, without Aileen. Her next project is to find a new best friend

Such a sad sad face, she looks really hurt. Love the choice of figures today (I don't have that sat down one with the owl on her - hint hint) but it's ideal for summertime. Great background.

Poor Aileen. I think we all remember moments like that- when we were children or teenagers of course. Hopefully at least. This is another fun art piece. I like how you added in the butterflies for Mia's challenge. Thanks for joining us again at AJJ. Hope your week is going well. Hugs-Erika

Actually, that is a very sad story, Wendy. Sometimes people say things they regret right after they say them. The person who will be the REAL loser here is Angela, because she will not only lose a friend, but also lose the opportunity to see the art show. This is a stunning entry and Angela is SO sad.
