Thursday Journal with Neet.

Not quite last minute this week, but nearly. We have had no electricity all morning so now it is late. I promise to do them earlier when I'm grown up. This week the words are "Well here I am, disguised as a responsible human being" I started with an already prepared background. I wasn't sure where to start with this one. and as I don't use this head very much, decided to have a change.  Why Andrea thinks she looks like a responsible grown up with a deer on her head I'm not sure. What she does like is her new hat, that she thought she looked very grown up in. She chose it because she loves butterflies and hoped that the roses would attract them. She didn't bargain on the deer though, but it seems quite happy there.

I am entering this in Art Journal Journey where Mia's ( Craftartista) theme is butterflies.

I was beginning to panic and was giving your journal just one last check. Then I was going to ring you. Glad you are ok but what a nuisance having the electric off.
Love this head, I think she is rather cute with those big eyes and I like the way you have introduced the butterfly into the page. Clever indeed!
Have a good week, bet you are enjoying this sunshine although you probably want the occasional downpour for the garden.
Hugs, Neet xx

Wow , she must have a fun imagination that would match that hat. Its a fantastic page Wendy and as always the back story is a good read. Thanks for adding the page to Mia's theme at AJJ as well with its pretty butterfly hovering beside the flowers.
Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine.

This is a super page, Wendy! Your lady behaves in a responsible adult way! Ha ha! I love the background too. Thank you for joining my challenge at AJJ. Hugs, my friend.

I had to smile when you said you promised to do things earlier when you were grown up. I think its harder to do that when we're grown up. Or are we really just little kids inside still? I like your lady today Wendy with that funky hat. And the butterfly. Thanks for joining us at AJJ and Mia challenge this month. Hope June is going well for you also! Hugs-Erika

I find her adorable with this hat!
Oh, you get really punctual, I think something like that still happens at our age.
It's good that the electricity is back.
Have a good weekend, hugs, Elke

Oh, too funny...you’re going to do your pages earlier when you are grown up. Love that! Your sweet gal is reminding us that acting like a responsible adult isn’t as fun as who she really is. She sounds so bored with the whole idea. Can’t say as I blame her. I much prefer when my inner child is out playing. The page is adorable and Andrea is doing the best she can. She just is not a responsible grown up at heart. Ha! Very fun Wendy!

Fun image, page, and hat! She got a bit more than she barganed for - something happens when we wish to be more grown up doesn't it? Glad you got your power back. I think many of us are maskerading as grown ups - this page really makes me think and I really like it, Wendy. Hugz

I really enjoyed this which is so different from Neet's. Your little girl's hat is adorable and I am quite sure she is surprised that a deer landed on it. Nice way to introduce Mia's theme at Art Journal Journey, the butterfly. Thanks for sharing it with us, dear Wendy.
