" To don't" are the words to conquer this week. Instead of the usual list like a To Do List this one is a Don't list. Grace is trying her best to be good and reasonable, but can't get round to it without a list to tick off if and when she does what is on her fast growing list. The first thing on the list is : 1. Don't buy any more shoes, Grace has two cupboards full of them, and there is no more room for any more.
2. Don't annoy the dog. Grace will keep teasing it and the poor thing is getting fed up with given bones as big as himself, and taking him for brisk walks that are too long and fast for his short legs. 3. Don't go shopping every day, it isn't necessary. 4. Don't leave everything until the last minute. This is her favourite one, Grace is very good at leaving things until she really has to do them, or find everything in a mess. This is only the start of the list, and she thought it would do to start off with.
I am entering this on Art Journal Journey where Valerie's theme is Heavy metal. I have used gold ink to go around all the rectangular shape around the edge and gold on the list. They do not show up very well on the scan.

Despite to the reader it sounding as if it is quite simple to do this post sitting down and illustrating it is not. That's what I found anyhow but we both managed to conquer it in similar ways. Love the sausage dog you included, how could Grace be anything but kind to him.
Your use of 'metal' is not as tenuous as mine - well done.
