Thursday Journal with Neet

'Sorry I'm out of sugar coating are the words this week' and these were uttered by Cloe who can be seen walking out of the room below.                                                                                                                     Cecil has once again chewed Cloe's slippers for the fourth time and this time she is not going to just grin at him and tell him not to do it again. It's not funny any more, especially as she had stopped buying the ones that look like rabbits or some other animal. These were just ordinary ones like old people wear. To add insult to injury Thins the cat had clawed his way up the lovely new curtains and then put muddy paw prints all over the cream sofa. Cloe sat them both down and said "that's it you two, I'm sorry but I'm out of sugar coating". Off she strode and left them to think about it. She lives in hope. I notice that Cecil doesn't chew his own slippers, but he does look as if he's a little bit sorry, Thins just looks scared.

I am entering this in Art Journal Journey where Erika's theme is Favourite things.

I guess slippers are his favourite things! I remember my little cat Tabitha used to run up my velvet curtains when she was tiny. She got away with so much because she was a pretty little thing.
A delightful page again Wendy, I love the green background.
Hugs, Neet xx

Oh I can relate to your story Wendy. I've had dogs eat my slippers and shoes before. And never a cat claw a curtain but claw other things-just as annoying. Good story this week to go with your super page. I get Cloe's lack of laughing it off. You even picked a great image for Cloe. Thanks so much for joining in at AJJ again. Much appreciated. Hope all is well. Hugs-Erika

Fun words, fun page, and great background here, Wendy. The animals look a bit sorry/scared. I would say a lot more than I am out of sugar coating if my animals did this! LOL. Love it. Hugz

My sincere apologies for taking so long to visit. Sometimes life gets in the way of computer time. I'm so far behind, I may never catch up, but I'm trying.

You had a creative back story for this latest journal prompt. Thins truly DOES look afraid. Serves him right. My cats don't climb, so Thins should learn, too. I can see why Cloe is so mad at Cecil. That's no way to treat even mundane looking shoes. Great entry for Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey, too. Again, my apologies for being tardy visiting.
