For Paint Party Friday, a young woodpecker. We have had one on our peanut feeder quite often this last year with his bright red beret on his head.

Love woodpeckers. We used to get them on our cherry tree and the green ones would peck about on the lawn.

wonderful! We have one species comming to the forest feeder I use to visit. I like to watch them. They are large birds but enver scare the smaller ones off. :)

Oh, lovely woodpecker! I had one last year on my dead wood logs. I hung them for the wild bees to nest in and the woodpecker was looking for some snacks I think. Happy PPF!
