This week the words are" Don't talk to me after my coffee either"
The background is Distress inks and the use of a few stencils and stamping. The colours are a lot brighter than this in real life. The lady on the left and her daughter are wondering what on earth they said to upset their friend, even Freddie the dog looks a bit surprised. The lady on the right with her blue pinafore dress (umbrella skirt idea pinched from Neet) just grabs her coffee and leaves them wondering.
I am so near the end of my large journal it is very difficult to photograph them, so excuse the uneven edges. The light is also very poor today.

She definitely looks as if she's flouncing (or trouncing) off, doesn't she? Excellent, Wendy. Love the use of navy, too - not always easy to do.
Great background and wonderful expressions... and nothing nicer than an almost completed journal! I rarely complete mine, but have lots half done...it just gets harder to use them as they get thicker.
Another great page from both of you.

Love the pinafore girl, can see why you wanted some of those swimsuit images now. It is a good image to decorate isn't it?
I think the background looks fine, especially with the strong blue of the girls pinafore dress.
Hugs, Neet xx
Good morning, I really love your art "people" and great background-Kathy
Fabulous pages!
Love the umbrella skirt idea and your backgrounds are always interesting. I think it's those glasses that are giving that woman airs and graces, and upsetting her friends! Snooty madam.
