Nearer home this week in Ireland, I have drawn the National bird which is the Lapwing. I have sewn a shamrock which is the National flower.
Sorry this is a bit brief, but I am absolutely tired out after our open gardens. The weather was brilliant, though a bit too hot. The people looking around were great, but I am pleased it's over.

Glad your garden event was a success. It must be such a lot of hard work but very worthwhile when it is appreciated.
Love the lapwing. We used to see so many on farm land years ago, now there are hardly any. The shamrock is lovely too, especially when I remember how tiny both are.
Your inchies are great, and I have been wondering if the garden event was over, well done, it must be a lot of work getting ready. Glad you were lucky with the weather, Dx
Beautiful inchies! Glad you had good weather for your garden event!
Beautiful inchies! Love the little bird.
You and I did the same thing with the shamrock, I have never heard of that bird. But you did a great job of it!
