This week we are off to South Africa, not somewhere I have an urge to go to. Apart from an organised Safari, I don't think I could drag Peter there under any circumstances. I would love to see all the animals in their natural surroundings though.
I have made an attempt to sew the Protea, the National flower of South Africa, and it was very difficult to give it any dimension.
I have drawn the Springbok, the National animal. It should be longer in the body, but in an inch !!!!

Love that little springbok and the protea must have been a real challenge - still recognisable though.
I'm always impressed by inchies and yours are really fabulous - great details.
