The words this week are 'I’m looking for someone who loves me in spite of who I am’ Annabelle is sitting at home wondering what to do with herself. Some of her girlfriends are going out for a night of clubbing in the local town, and she didn’t have any inclination to do that. She couldn’t put up with the noise for a start or the type of men she met there. Her mum always said to her that she thought too much of herself and it was time she thought of other people, faults as well, no-one is perfect. Annabelle realised that she was looking for Mr Perfect and he probably didn't exist, so she said out load "I am looking for someone who loves me in spite of myself" Perhaps going on a dating site would be an idea, then you could sort them out before you actually had to meet them. Maybe a phone call or two to make sure their voice sounded nice. All of this sounded a bit like 'not for me' but Annabel thought maybe it might be a good idea just to take a look and see who was on there and perhaps pick just a couple to try it out. At least it would be something to do for the evening, and no-one would know about it unless she told them. She sort of knew that the problem lay in her own personality and there must be someone out there who could live with that.
I am linking this to Valerie and Erika's theme of poetry on Art Journal Journey.

Hi Wendy, I LOVE your story, and the poem you chose, it's lovely. Thanks so much for another lovely entry for our challenge at AJJ, hugs, Valerie
Great story, you nailed it. Love the page too - one of your favourite colours, lime green and it looks so good. What did you use for the background - what media?
Happy with the new quotes, thanks.
Hugs, Neet xx
That poem is perfect for your quote this week, and so is your single Dylusion figure. So is your story. It's perfect for Valerie's and my challenge Wendy. I hope all is well. hugs-Erika
