I am hosting Art Journal Journey for this month and have chosen doors and Arches as my theme. Here I have used a garden fence to include the door into the garden beyond. The background beyond the fence is made with magazine images and the tree in front with wallpaper for the trunk and branches. Some of the foliage are die cuts with the addition of some flowers.

When I first saw this journal spread, I thought it was lovely, but I didn't fully appreciate how much you put into this until I looked closer. You did a lot of beautiful piecing and adding elements that weren't necessarily obvious at first glance. Love your page Wendy. And I really love how you used wallpaper to make the tree trunk. But that is a lot of leaves to attach, but they look wonderful.And I would love to go through that gate and walk in that garden. It's my kind of fantasy page.
