Tag Tuesday - All Hallows Eve

Another tag for Michele's theme of All Hallows Eve on Tag Tuesday. The background was sprayed with inks and a piece of web fabric placed at the top. A large black spider is making it's way down to the skeleton and over the top of the scull. I placed a Tim Holz wooden label and a border edge at the bottom.

Thursday Journal with Neet

"I'll never forget the first time we met, but I'll keep trying" is the saying of Dyan's this week. I have made a background with Distress oxides and used several stencils to make the lines, so that I can enter it in Chris's theme of Hold the line on Art Journal Journey.

Annie on the left has had enough of Pricilla's stuck up ways and wishes she had never met her in the first place. She is always telling Annie what to do and when to do it, and Annie has had enough of someone who seems to think she is a good friend. She has tried to be nice to Pricilla, but is now hoping that this remark will make her go away.

The figures are Dylusions and painted with watercolour paints, and I think they show their personalities  fit well with the saying.

Tag Tuesday - All Hallows Eve.

On Tag Tuesday Michele's theme is All Hallows Eve and for this tag I have used Distress oxide inks for the background, and my favourite raven stamp. The stars on the top right are embossed with a glitter/black and the bats are die cuts. This tag is the reverse of my previous one, so that I can make a book of them.

Tag Tuesday - All Hallow's Eve

Michele's theme on Tag Tuesday is All Hallow's Eve, and I didn't need much persuasion to dig out my Halloween stuff. I distress inked the tag and stamped the images on top. I added some Halloween coloured yard at the top

I did this shadow box a while ago, so put in in for interest.

Thursday Journal with Neet

A quick post this week as I have two of my kids here and I am chained to the cooker. It was prawn curry last night.

The words this week are "I'm a bad influence, but damn I'm fun". I have done a Distress ink background and used a couple of stencils. The figures are all Dylusions and painted with watercolour pens. I found the saying very difficult to portray, so used a figure who looked like she was good fun, with her pet bird and a deer or two.

I am entering this in Art Journal Journey where Chris's theme is Hold the line.

Some pictures of Autumn beginning in the garden.

Thursday Journal with Neet

'Sorry if I look interested... I'm not' is the challenge this week. I have started off using a stencil with different colours, which has lots of lines on it. So I can enter it in Art Journal Journey where Chris's theme is Hold the line. There are also lines on the top of one of the figures and on the bottom of the page. The figures are Dylusion and painted with watercolour pens. The lady on the left has been telling her friend all about the fall out with her boyfriend and how this time it really is over. By the look on her friends face she is telling her that she really couldn't care less. She has heard it many times before, and she doesn't like the new wallpaper either, makes her want to write in the white lines.

Tag Tuesday - Trees

Pinkie's theme on Tag Tuesday Is Trees. Having just spent a wet and windy week in Cornwall, I decided on  a wintery tree. The background is distress inks with water sprayed on top. Two fir tree die cuts had puff paint added to the branches. I used texture paste with some glitter for the snow at the bottom.

Thursday journal with Neet

Never forget your sparkle are the words this week, and  I have used a black background with a leaf stencil and glimmer spray. I drew round the top leaves with Tim Holtz stickles, and also drew the words with them as well. They didn't show up very well so had to go over them with a white pen.

The figure and cats are Dylusions and painted with watercolour pens. her cloths and the cats also have stickles on them. A very glittery page for me, and it doesn't show up very well on the scan. I am entering this in Art Journal Journey where Chris’s theme is Hold the line. I think there are enough lines to qualify.

This post is scheduled as we are in wet and windy Cornwall this week. We come at this time of year so my daughter can let the dogs on the beach. The range of pebbles here is fabulous and the car will be somewhat heavier going home.

These photos were on my phone so I took photos  of photos, if you get my drift.

Tag Tuesday - Book print

Sandie's theme on Tag Tuesday is Book print and I love including bits of old books in my art. This time I used Distress oxides and splashed on some metallic inks for some splatter. I used a vintage photo, some soft form relief paste on a texture mat, and a few buttons and a butterfly.

Thursday Journal with Neet

To do list...not that' is the quote for this week, I have a list like that, probably more than one.                     I used Distress oxides for the background and used a stencil with the same colours. The figure is a Dylusion one and coloured with watercolour pens, the dog from Tim Holtz.

The lady is looking a bit glum as she has gone through most of the list and although the dog has already had a walk, he looks like he would like another one. The only job she hasn't ticked off the list is clean the toilets, and she knows she should do them. Dog or toilets !!!! She doesn't look very energetic having gone through everything else on the list, so I think I will leave her thinking about it.

As there are quite a few lines on this I am entering it in Chris's theme of 'Hold the line' on Art Journal Journey
