Thursday Journal with Neet

My choice this week and the words are "If I'd known you were coming over, I'd have left the house" I have used yellow Dylusion paints, so that I can enter this in Art journal Journey's Theme of Yellow as well. Not an easy colours, as everything with it stands out like a sore thumb. As purple is yellows complimentary colour I used a bit of that, but then had to tone it down as it was too much. All the images are Dylusion.
The scan has dulled the colours quite a lot.

I really found this a difficult one but you seemed to have no problem - a perfect interpretation of the theme. Great that you can enter it into AJJ too. A fab double page spread.
Hugs, Neet

Love this pithy comment! The background is fantastic and your use and treatment of colour is so good.

Oh what a funny page - the quote is fabulous! I am glad you used much yellow for the background and the details and I adore your fine black doodling on the whole page!
Thank you very much for linking such an amazing entry to my theme at AJJ!
Wish you a happy rest of the week (and no bad visitors :))! Rike

This is so funny Wendy and it brought to mind a few people I have known in the past that the quote would been an apt statement

Have a great weekend

Love Chrissie xx

I hate to tell you Wendy, but I personally think the lady on the left side of the spread looks suspiciously like Neet, or at least photos I've seen of her. Was that subconscious? Seriously, I love this and the humor you found along the way. Thanks for this latest entry you shared with Neet AND us at Art Journal Journey.

I really love this a lot... I find yellow hard to work with so I had a good zoom in to look at the colours/shades you used as it really works - just fabulous!
Happy Friday - have a great weekend.
