On Tag Tuesday the theme is The Beach and this is my second tag for the challenge. The background is painted with some texture paste for the white foam. The figure, sseagulls, shells and saying are stamped on separate card.

Thursday Journal with Neet
This week it is black/white and red. As I didn't have a blank page I used Dylusions black paint to cover up an already painted one. I'm not sure if Neet and I would actually paint all the pages in advance if we do another journal. It does save some time if you have left it until the last minute, not that we do that ( cough, splutter!!)
I stamped some figures, stuck them to the page and used a stencil for the background. I used a Posca white pen as none of my others worked, and even the Posca played up. I doodled a bit and then adhered the sayings. I then attacked the page with a red pen.

Art Journal Journey -- Circles
Rosie's theme on Art Journal Journey this month is Circles https://art-journal-journey.blogspot.co.uk/2017/06/circles.html
I have had such a busy month that I have only just done a page for the challenge. I am scraping in at the last minute. I have used a gelli print for the background and added various circles. I then wrote some saying in the circles.

Go Tag Thursday -- Stars
The theme on Go Tag Thursday is stars. Not an easy one for me, as my mind went blank. I had a gelli print with stars on so used that for a background. I then added any star I could find in my stash.

Tag Tuesday -- The Beach
On Tag Tuesday, one of my favourite themes has been chosen by Joan for the next two weeks and it is the Beach. I started off by using some sand texture paste at the base of the tag. I then painted the rest with acrylic paint. I stamped the figure and saying and added them to the tag, along with some shells and seagull.

Thursday Journal with Neet
This week we are on purple, which is not a colour I use very much. I had to paint over an existing background with Dylusions purple paint to get a purple enough background.
I stamped and coloured the figures and added a quote. I had trouble stamping the leaves as the ink wouldn't dry. What happened to blotting paper, has it disappeared off the planet !!

Go Tag Thursday -- Anything goes
The theme on Go Tag Thursday is anything goes.
Off on a course this afternoon, so a quick one as I'm not back until Friday, when I will be behind on next weeks as well. Having stamped the Lynne Perrella images I couldn't decide which ones to use, so made a double sided tag.
These will also conform to the Tag Tuesday theme which is Texture. They have ribbon, lace and flowers for texture..

Go Tag Thursday -- Fruit
On Go Tag Thursday the theme is Fruit. I am so late with this, as this Thursday there will be another one to do. Where does the time go.
For my tag I used distress inks on the background and stamped the pears on a separate piece of card. I coloured them with Derwent intense crayons.

Every Inchie Monday -- Zebra
This week we are off to Africa, and the zebra. Not an easy one to sew and this is my second attempt, the first one looked as if it had overdone the weight watchers diet. The stampbord one is shrink plastic. The sewn one looks a bit blue, as I had to use my iPad to scan it as my two proper scanners are being naughty.
Tag Tuesday -- Texture
On Tag Tuesday it is my turn to host the next two weeks challenge. I have chosen texture, and anything that gives texture can be used.
For my first sample I cut out a tag from corrugated card and used gesso and texture paste to start off with. I then painted it with metallic acrylic paints. Plasterers scrim, ribbons were added, and on the top of these I used accent beads, buttons. friendly plastic and clay embellishments. To add some bling I used glitter texture paste through a stencil.
I have added some photos of our open gardens. We didn't have so many visitors this year, but well worth the effort for charity, the weather was not good for wandering round gardens.
If I take any more, I'll put them on later.

Thursday Journal with Neet
This week the colour is orange. Once again I had an already painted page and went with that. The figure is a Dylusions one and the duck from one of my bird books. As I have a very busy week I have made this early and scheduled it for Thursday. I might try to do next weeks as well as I am away at the end of next week. Next week it's pink which is not a colour I like using.

Tag Tuesday -- Animals
We are still on the animal theme on Tag Tuesday, and this time I have used two hare stamps from Stampotique. I hasten to add I don't own all of these stamps, I used two from a friend.
Again I used distress oxide inks on the background.

Every Inchie Monday-- Gorilla
I'm sort of happy with the stampbord shrink plastic one. The sewn one took three attempts before I was anywhere near happy with it. I tried a black and a grey felt one, and it was too difficult to show any features. The only finished one looked like a friendly bear, so I drew one on fabric and sewed round it.

Go Tag Thursday -- Road trip
On Go Tag Thursday the theme this week is road trip or holiday. I have used a distress inked background and a torn piece of a road map. I stamped a line of caravans along one of the roads and a VW Campervan. I couldn't resist The well known saying as well.

Tag Tuesday -- Animals
For this fortnight on Tag Tuesday, Michele has chosen 'Animals' I have stamped two of Stampotique's querky animals, a giraffe and an ostrich.
The background is distress oxides with a small amount of stamping.
Thursday Journal with Neet
As Neet has had to empty her craft room, and can't find a lot of her stamps, we have abandoned doing any more countries until Neet is back in and sorted. So colours it is, and this week it is yellow. Not the easiest colour to work with, and I have used my last blank page in my journal and painted it with Dylusions yellow. I then used some other paints and stencils to make a background. The figure and some flowers are Dylusions and I added some die cuts as it was looking a bit flat and too yellow.
