Embroidery -- growth

My kitchen is lime green, one wall of my studio is lime green, here is an embroidery in lime green. I suppose I might go off the colour one day, but not in the foreseeable.

The embroidery is based  vaguely on plant growth -- very vaguely.
The base is felt with various bits of silk, scrim, handmade beads and French knots.
I made holes in the felt with a soldering iron and placed it on a textured canvas that I had made for something else. I really enjoyed doing this and am now aiming to finish off some other embroideries that are lurking in my studio.
