Chunky elephant book

I love elephants, my mother collected them, and as I inherited them, they are now all over the house. Stone, pottery, metal, alabaster from Italy, volcanic ash ( I bought that one from Etna), glass, crystal,, and loads of wooden ones. I am now adding to them by making books with them in. (no not the ornaments)
These are for a swap for a chunky book. As I have already done an altered book, I thought this would be a doddle. I have lost my way a bit, and found them a chore. It will be interesting to see what I get back. They are a mixture of collage, stamping, friendly plastic, and fibres.

Friendly Plastic again

I had another play with Friendly plastic yesterday. It's a stress free process, which gives some satisfying results, I love working with it. It's just an excuse not to do other things that are more difficult. Some of them are for a swap, but then I never want to get rid of them. My craft room is littered with unfinished projects, and next week I really will get round to finish some of them. Yes, right !!!!!!!

Friendly Plastic

I am waiting for the Gesso to dry on an altered book, I am doing with a friend, so on here trying to catch up with my craft journey.

I have been having a play with my friendly plastic, as I needed a break from buttons, Zettis, doodles, and jigsaw pieces. So, before I do my final pieces for my own jigsaw, I had a play.

The only trouble with gluing a lot of friendly plastic onto a card is it makes the card go banana shaped, even heavy weights won't get the bend out of it. I must have another go, and try something else
