Encaustic art

I've been ironing again, and here are a few of them. I really must try and do some without lakes on. However hard I try the lake appears as if by magic. I love the reflections that just happen, oops, I mean that I put in deliberately. I have unfortunately just swapped the same one with two people, and it's impossible to repeat them. It wouldn't have happened if they had answered emails in a reasonable time. I might try and put a few more on later.

Another one of my favourite techniques, Ironing, not the clothes, but with wax. The effects you can get are amazing, and I find it very relaxing. They never turn out as you wish, but there are some great happy accidents. I have put a few samples on for you to see
