Encaustic art

I've been ironing again, and here are a few of them. I really must try and do some without lakes on. However hard I try the lake appears as if by magic. I love the reflections that just happen, oops, I mean that I put in deliberately. I have unfortunately just swapped the same one with two people, and it's impossible to repeat them. It wouldn't have happened if they had answered emails in a reasonable time. I might try and put a few more on later.

Hi Wendy,
These are amazing as is all your other stuff. Somehow things look so much better on a blog than they do in a gallery, don't know why. Love all the stuff on here! Hope we can do a swap soon again.

Hi Wendy, When the text loaded but before the pics had appeared, I read 'I've been ironing again,' and I thought, 'I remember doing that!' LOL. Great pics all of them. If the lakes appear then they should be there.

Beautiful work once again Wendy - and why fight the lakes? if that's what's meant to be, the go with the flow and enjoy it!

These are lovely Wendy. If you HAVE to have an iron in your hand, this is what you should be doing with it! And what's the matter with lakes? They're beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful, Wendy. I came over after you left a comment on my blog and had to page back through all your posts because you make beautiful stuff.

Love the waxworks Wendy (LOL), but then I love just about all the art work you put on display.

Excellent. These are the best Encaustic pieces I've seen to date. Let me know if you want to trade a nice colorful one for a flower fairy!

Please don't lose the "lakes" Wendy, they appear by magic, because your work IS magic. x
