Wilma has chosen the theme of 'Peace', as her fortnight as designer on Tag Tuesday, and as it fell on 9/11, a date none of us will forget. I decided to use the quote by Prof Robert O'Neill as the base for mine. I wrote in the conflicts that have occurred in the 20th century.
I find great peace in the sea and mountains, so I have added some photographs of our holiday on the West coast of the Highlands of Scotland with my youngest daughter and her family. As you can see we managed to find the only place in the whole of Europe that wasn't having a heat wave. It didn't spoil our enjoying the holiday, even though it would have been better if the sun had come up there with us, and we hadn't needed our fleeces.

Wonderful tag and photos, looks like a great place. Hugs, Valerie
That is a wonderful tag - not much of a recommendation for the human race though. You'd have thought we would have found a better way to settle our differences by now.
Beautiful photos of your holiday. Such a shame about the weather but the wild, unspoilt beauty was still there to enjoy.
Fantastic tag and very thought provoting Wendy
I love your pics of Scotland with it's many wonders. Heat and sun would have spoilt it all I reckon.
Thank you for commenting at Jumbled Crafta
Love Chrissie xx
I have really enjoyed your 'peaceful' photos of such beautiful places and your tag is such a timely reminder to us all to keep "peace" in mind - at least for the next generation. Thank you Wendy
