Thursday Journal with Neet

This week the word is holiday and the colours blue and green. I really had to put my thinking cap on for this one, as my mind was a blank. I blame all this heat.
I painted the background with acrylic paint and used Dylusion birds and figure.

Even though my studio is cool to work in, my energy has taken a big dip. I have so much to do in the garden, but it's just too hot. I have some established plants drying up with withering leaves. There is only so much water you can give them. I also have lots of new plants waiting to be planted. We are just not used to this weather in this country.

I'm with you on the weather. I believe we have at least another week to contend with. I am suffering from heat fatigue and definitely wilting!
Love the sentiment of this page and the lovely background you have painted.

Tell me about this heat! Love it and yet am longing for rain. Trouble is when it does come it could signify the end of summer for us. Still we need it up north for the moorland fires. The flora and fauna that has been hurt through this mindless act saddens me so much (rare hares that turn white in the snow on Winter Hill) not to mention those poor firefighters who must be exhausted.
Sorry, on my soapbox.
Love your page, so bright and clean looking with the way you have done the background. Great quip and figures finish it off superbly.
Hugs, Neet xx
