Again this year I am doing not one but two on line art courses. Whether I will be able to keep up is a different story. Some of the lessons I just watch and don't actually do the art, as it's perhaps not my thing. I will try to have a go at most of them though. The two below are the warm up exercise and the final piece called Light Girl, where the basket contains hearts with what I want to take with me from 2016 into 2017. I haven't drawn whimsical girls before, so that was a bit of a challenge to start with. The backgrounds are both collaged and then painted

Love both of these. The backgrounds are lovely and I particularly like the sweeping curve of the line up to the heart shape on the first one.
