This week the challenge is 'hut'. My mind went immediately to beach hut, so I made two out of shrink plastic, and coloured them with distress markers. I placed them on a watercoloured inchie, drew a few pebbles, and stuck the huts in place. I might try to make a sewn one later. Having said that perhaps not, these gave me no end of problems. The shrink plastic does tend to distort, so they are rather crooked. Must be on a windy bit of coast.

You're right it does distort Wendy, but that just adds to the charm of this wonderful little project. It's probably thoroughly realistic in this weather too!:) Hugs, Jenny x
Fantastic Wendy
My mind immediately thought of a beach hut as well but I do live at the seaside and there are loads of them here along the seafront lol Even our garden shed is painted like a beach hut :)
Love Chrissie xx
I think the crookedness adds to their charm. I really like your hut inchie.
My hut inchie
Your huts look beautiful. Like real ones.
Wow I didn't know there was an inchy challenge as well! This is really cute Wendy - my first thought would also have been beach hut - and these little FP ones are super! Just love it. Glad to know that you are also a hoarder - I have tumbled stones in my cupboard!
Big hugs Sue Pxxx
Love the distorted part, does make them look real, Love the idea of shrink plastic, one of these days I am gonna have to play with that stuff!!!
I love your beach hut inchie Wendy. I never thought of using shrink plastic - a great idea.
xxx Hazel.
I think this is a brilliant inchie and admire the work put in to make a miniature masterpiece! I would have thought of beach huts too, dreaming of the summer to come!
Fabulous beach huts. The distortion gives the image a feeling of a heat wave -perfect for a beach hut
