'The skeletons in your closet are suggesting that you upgrade to a double-wide walk-in' are this weeks quote. I'm not sure I would know how to take that remark if someone said it to me.
Dorothy and her slim friend Zoe were discussing fashion and how to keep up with it, although Zoe really didn't think her friend knew what fashion was.
"I just wear what I like that I am comfortable with" exclaimed Dorothy
"Yes that's all very well, but you are still in your twenties and dress as someone in their fifties. replied Zoe.
"Oh do you really think so, perhaps I should start by loosing weight, and go from there. I'm pleased you told me as I rarely think about clothes" said Dorothy.
"You do look a bit frumpy in that dress which looks more like a dressing gown. In fact the skeletons in your closet are suggesting you upgrade to a double wide walk in" laughed Zoe
"Yes, very funny. giggled Dorothy.

This week the words are 'Some people say their body is a temple. Mine is a bouncy castle.
As usual Abigail is complaining to her fiend Cathy that is is fed up with going on a diet and not loosing any weight.
"It's probably because you only do them for about a week and the go onto another one. It's a big triumph for you if you loose1lb, that's not going to get you anywhere. You either have to stick to one good diet or do some exercises and eat sensibly, then you might loose some weight". Cathy replied.
"You know I don't do exercise, but I suppose I could do something about my diet "Abigail mumbled.
"Please try, or I will get fed up with you grumbling all the time. Cathy said.
Ok, some people say their body is a temple,. Mine is a bouncy castle" replied Abigail.
They both laughed at that.

This week the words are 'I've been accepted into hell on a full scholarship' The background is a mix of two stencils that I wiped clean with a wet wipe onto a clean page I then used some similar colours to over up the white of the page that was left.
Gina and her friend Shelly were together in Gina's house discussing the results of their choices for university. Gina had put two top universities as her first two choices, and on the suggestion of her headmistress the third was one she hadn't even considered as she didn't think it was any good.
Shelly was less ambitious and had three reasonable choices on her list, they all suited the subjects she wanted to study and was pleased she had been accepted for her first choice.
"Well how did you on, which one are you going to" asked Shelly
"I was hoping you weren't going to ask me, I'm rally disappointed." replied Gina.
Well you didn't do as well with your exams as you had hoped" said Shelly.
"No that's the problem, my first two choices wanted three A's and as I ended up with an A, a B, and a C I've been accepted into hell on a full scholarship" Gina grumbled.
"OH" exclaimed Shelly, not knowing what else to say to her friend.

The words this week are 'I'm hosting an anti-social party. No one is invited.
A short one this week as my computer is still driving me nuts as I am having trouble loading my picture, it took me one and a half hours this time.
Martha was feeling very down, the weather, her friends, her job, in fact anything she could think of. Her cousin Rosalind had come round to see her and was doing her best to cheer her up.
"look, you can't do anything about the weather and I know the new job is not to your liking, but you will get use to it and then you will start to enjoy it. Why don't you have a party, that will cheer you up, I'll help and do some party food" said Rosalind
"Now that is a good idea, I'll let everyone know I'm hosting an anti-social party. No one is invited" replied Martha.

Tracey is relaxing at home having had a busy week at work, and her friend Astrid has come round for a coffee and a nice long chat. As Tracey noticed as soon as Astrid walked in that she wasn't a happy bunny.
"What's up with you" Tracey asked
"I've been shopping at the new shopping mall in town. As you can see I haven't bought a single thing" replied Astrid.
"Well that has to be a first, I'd better go make that coffee to recover from that statement" said Tracey looking somewhat bemused. " "OK so what was wrong with the shopping mall?" asked Tracey as she came in with the coffee.
"It was full of people, you could hardly get in the shops let alone buy something, They stand around in big groups chatting away and don't even get out of the way to let you past. It was hopeless so after an hour of trying to get past people I gave up and left. I don't know about you, but people make me say bad words" Astrid said.
What's up with me is my computer and a husband who has managed to delete all my links to my art sites etc.

'OK I checked my calendar I won't care next week either' are the words this week.
I have spent all day trying to upload my page, and in the end had to sneak around google and find another way. I dislike computers when they don't work. (or is it me)
Perri had gone for a walk to meet her friend Esme and was horrified to see Esme wearing an umbrella on her head. Esme was also looking somewhat fed up.
"What's up with you" Perri asked
What you you think, I come out to meet you and what happens, just look up at the sky, we look as if we are in for a real downpour, even your dog looks a bit dubious. You know I hate to get my hair wet."replied Esme.
"OK I can understand that, it does look like rain, but why have you an umbrella on your head that doesn't have a handle like everyone else's? asked Perri.
I took the handle off and used this as a rain hat, it makes perfect sense to me" said Esme.
"Well it looks ridiculous" said Perri.
"OK, I checked my calendar I won't care next week either" replied Esme.

Kerri had gone out for a walk and bumped into her best friend Angela. "I was just on my way to see you, exclaimed " Angela. I was hoping to catch you in.
"I felt like a walk, what is it you wanted to see me about" asked Kerri.
"Well as you know is my birthday next week and I have been given a weekend trip for two to Paris, all expenses payed, by my parents" said Angela.
"Wow lucky you, is your boyfriend going with you" asked Kerri.
"You have to be joking, my parents wouldn't allow that, no you are coming with me, chuckled Angela.
"Oh, the thing is, are you flying or going by train" asked Kerri ?
"Well flying obviously, why do you ask" asked Angela.
I'm terrified of flying, that's why, they say a plane takes off every two minutes Heathrow, what if they bump into each other ? said a nervous Kerri.
"It's the safest way of travelling, did you know that" replied Angela. " I'll hold your hand if you like"
"You know what's funny, not you"remarked Kerri.
"I'm not being funny , but you coming with me, even if I have to drag you up there, I won't take no for an answer. You will be fine, it's very exciting honestly"
"Right, I will have to go and find my brave face then, and try to not look out of the window to see how high me are" said Kerri.

I hope my ship comes in before my dock rots' are the words this week'. My background is distress oxide inks using a scrap page that I used an old stencil on. I used the stencil ink side and used a wet wipe to get the ink off and onto the page. I then used a green over the top to fill in the gaps.
Martha had gone to see her cousin Pauline and was a bit worried about her, she hadn't seen her for days.
"What's up with you, you look as if you are having a rough time" Martha asked.
"Where do you want me to start? " Pauline replied.
Martha was now wishing she hadn't asked, and reckoned she was in for a long spell of moaning. "Well you might as well tell me, better than sitting there bottling it all up" Martha said.
"First of all I have this awful cold that's going around, then I lost my job, then I had a row with my mum who thinks I'm not trying to find another job. After that I didn't think anything else could go wrong, but then my car ground to a halt, I think that's all at the moment" Pauling stated sarcastically.
"Well let's look at each problem one at a time. First of all, you will get over your cold, that's only temporary, You hated that job, so find one you really like, you are well qualified. Your mum won't be mad at you for long, and get my boyfriend to look at your car for you, that's his job after all. See there you go, no problems.
"That's OK for you, I just hope my ship comes in before my deck rots"replied Pauline.

The words this week are 'I'm never a calm blue sea, I'm always a storm'
It's a new month and a New Year, so Happy New Year to you all. As Thursday is the first day of the month I have to wait to put my blog on after I have made it on Thursday morning. After half an hour of freezing my hands and feet out in the garden, I have managed a quick page.
Lucy had met up with her friend Louise whilst out for a brisk walk, as it looked like it was going to rain, in fact it looked like another one of those storms that sweeps across the Atlantic. Louise was not looking very happy and Lucy had asked "what's was up with you?"
"Well, first of all I had a massive row with my boyfriend, who is now my x boyfriend, I just lost it with him and just couldn't stop giving him a list of his annoying habits and telling him his friends were awful as well" Louise replied.
"So now you are free of him you can start again, especially as you were beginning to grumble about him"said Lucy.
"Yes I know, but it always seems to happen with me I'm never a calm sea, I'm always a storm. Just look at that sky, that's just like me, even the seagulls have come inland away from the stormy coastline"
" Cheer up, it's New Years day, a new beginning" said Lucy.
