'I dress to kill, and cook the same way' are the words this week.
I don't think the view from Celia's window will be the same here this year. Far too wet, floods everywhere and I have hundreds bulbs to plant.
Celia has her friend Marion around for a chat and a cup of coffee. Marion is in a funny mood and very fidgety, Celia asked her was there anything wrong.
'What you mean apart from the cold snowy weather, the fact that it's nearly Christmas and I haven't bought one present or sent one card." Marion replied.
"Well why don't you go home and make a start on them, get onto Amazon for presents and buy some charity cards on your way home. The weather you can't do much about. said Celia.
"I thought I might just go home and make some mince pies or something" replied Marion.
"What dressed like that, you will get your lovely outfit covered in flour, plus the fact that you can't cook" said Celia.
"Celia, I dress to kill and cook the same way" laughed Marion, heading for the door.

Oh my, Wendy! I couldn’t stop laughing when I read the end of your story. You are so clever with these words. And I love your artwork too! The characters are adorable, and their outfits are so cute. I especially love the winter scene, seen through the window! Thanks for joining AJJ and my Winter theme this busy month! Hugs, Sharon
She does look too nice to cook, especially if she makes a mess. :) Nice story today Wendy. I love how you added the window with the winter scene. It's a great way to show winter without making your whole page winter. You must be missing Neet. Have you heard from her? I hope you have a super rest of the week. hugs-Erika
Great story to go with that sentence!
