Thursday Journal

The words this week are 'Up bright and early so I can get a head start on hating everything'

For my page this week I have inked a page with a stormy sky background. I then stamped some snow flakes and embossed them with silver glitter. It's years since I used embossing powder and had forgotten what a mess it makes. It's so fine it goes everywhere. I will be finding some for weeks.

I have made a Wintery scene to go with Sharons theme of Winter on Art Journal Journey

Joanna had been asked by her mum to take the dog out for a long walk to try and wear him out so that he will sleep all afternoon. Henry did insist on taking his bone with him, and kept dropping it and was  happy enough not to bother picking it up. Joanne hated taking him for long walks, she had better. things to do. She hated picking up the bone as it made her gloves all slimy and they were nearly new. Apart from that it was snowing and she hated getting cold, the snowflakes made her new outfit wet and goodness knows what her hair would look like, but it was her own fault as she didn't like hats.

"Honestly Henry I got up bright and early so I can get a head start on hating everything, I seem to be doing quite well so far' She said.

Oh, Wendy Your story was so sweet and clever, and the art journal page you made is absolutely gorgeous! I know embossing powder can be messy, but it’s worth it for the amazing effect it creates. Your sparkly silver snowflakes against the stormy sky are stunning! And Joanna and Henry are adorable! Thank you for sharing your talents with us at AJJ! I’m so happy that you joined the winter theme this month. Hugs, Sharon

That's a statement from the girl (the Grinch is nothing compared to this, haha).
The page is creative and fitting, the outfit looks great on her and the dog.
Have a good Days! Hugs Elke

This girl sounds like such a teenager, and Henry sounds like a typical dog insisting on taking their bone and then just dropping it. Grin. I have a whole collection of dog toys in my car because Pete likes to bring them down and then never bring them back inside. Grin. This is a super page Wendy and the perfect story too. And it works for Sharon's challenge at AJJ. Thanks for joining in, and I hope you have a super rest of your week. hugs-Erika

This is cut, and your story funny as well as the quote. I think some people are like this! Great job with Sharon’s Winter theme. Oh, and I am not a fan of embossing powder either, but love the look.
