Thursday journal with Neet

I know the title is Thursday journal with Neet, but she is not well and unable to take part at the moment, so I am flying the flag solo again this week.

The words this week are 'Anyone who can fold fitted sheet is obviously a witch' I can only agree with this statement, I dislike them and folding them is nigh on impossible.

Beth was around at her mums ( Dorothy), and was there to help her fold the sheets ready for ironing. Beth didn't iron her bedding and couldn't understand why her mum still did as most of her sheets were polyester/cotton. What a waste of time Beth thought, and questioned her mum yet again.

"Come on Dorothy said, let's get this done and we can then have a nice cup of tea"

"Honestly mum, I don't know why you bother with the fitted one, it sort of irons itself when you stretch it over the mattress. And anyway anyone who can fold a fitted sheet is obviously a witch."

"so are you going to help or not" asked her mum.

I don't think I need to Mum. Don't look round but there's a witch just about to fly over your head, she can probably do it on her own"

"Oh very funny Beth, now come here and help me"

I am linking this to Elle's time of Steampunk, Halloween or steampunk Halloween on Art Journal Journey

Great idea, I don't iron them either. I agree with Beth. The sentence with the witch is amusing!
Great page with the daughter and mother; the witch flies there, and the ghost laughs too.
Get well soon Neet and have a nice autumn time, hugs Elke

I remember my grandmother ironing sheets, but I'm not even any good at folding them, never mind ironing them. It's a fun story, and I love those Halloween images you added on your page too. And ha ha, I love that your weekly quote had a Halloween feel to it anyhow. I'm glad you're still joining us with Neet down and out. I hope she's better soon also. Thanks for joining Elle at AJJ, and have a super rest of your week. hugs-Erika

My grandmother ironed her sheets, but I have no idea if they were fitted or not. I love your Halloween and witch inspired art this week. Very clever and great for Elle's theme at AJJ.
