This week the words are 'I never forget a face, but for you I'll make an exception'
Jane had been to a collage reunion the previous weekend and had caught up with her old friends, many of them had moved away from the area to their respective jobs and a new life. A good few had remained in the local town and Jane had kept friends with several of them. As she was about to leave another one of her class came up to her and said hello and how nice it was to see everyone again.
"Yes isn't it" replied Jane, not really wanting to chat with her. "Sorry I must go I am meeting my boyfriend in a few minutes" she muttered.
"I'll see you again soon the girl replied" looking a bit disappointed.
"Why are you in such a hurry" asked her friend who she was going out with later. "You are going out with me, not your boyfriend"
"Yes I know, I just didn't want to talk to her, I can't even remember her name"
A week later who should turn up at her door but the girl she had made the boyfriend excuse to. Not knowing what to do as the girl whose name she still couldn't remember, just walked into the lounge and started talking.
"Look I'm sorry but I can't even remember your name and we were not friends at college, what are you doing here" asked Jane.
"Well I'm Sheena, and I remember your name Jane and I thought you might like to be friends" replied Sheena
"Sorry, but I never forget a face, but in your case I make an exception" said Jane.
