Thursday Journal with Neet.

This weeks quote in another one of Dyans ' Land of make believe - next right'                                        Sonia and her two friends Lowri and Bethan were on their way to school for an audition for the next school play which involved a fairy story about a princess and some rival princes who were after her hand in marriage. They had all reached the age of five and believed in dreaming about how their futures would  be really exciting and I'm sure the odd prince came into the conversation.  Lowri  and Bethan were full of dreams of how they would be princesses and the handsome rich Prince to would come along and this play would just suit their romantic dreams, so they were going to try their best to get a really good part. Their crowns were ready and they were now wondering who the handsome prince might be. For the life of them they couldn't think of a like candidate in their class who would fit the part, in fact they didn't like any of the boys at all. Who would be the princess, there was only one and both of them thought they were good enough., Well thought Sonia this will be interesting, one or both them might well be disappointed, Sonia didn't really like acting so she had made up her mind not to try very hard at the audition. Soda was also getting fed up with hearing them talking about princesses and princes and before they arrived at the school she couldn't resist saying to them "Land of make believe - next right" I wonder what will happen !!

I am linking this to Alison's theme of Autumn colours and inspiration on Art Journal Journey  I have also included a Halloween page that I have done in my Small Dylusion journal as it fits the theme as well.

Just lost my comment. In so much pain this morning.
Love your story and the accompanying picture with the falling leaves. I've not go0t the one on the right with the kipper tie so she was new to me and I love the heads, again new to me. Hope Sonia gets the part even though she doesn;t want it might teach the other two a valuable lesson in life.
Love the spare page you have done - something like I had in mind but changed last minute. (ie witches)

Nice idea about the play and being about to live out your "what do you want to be when you grow up" dreams that way. I love both of your pages, one very perfect for Halloween and the other just a cool page. Are those Dylusion heads on the first page? Like Neet, I haven't seen them, but then I haven't seen all her stamps by a long shot. Have a wonderful last day of October, and thank you for once again joining Alison's challenge. hugs-Erika

Love both your pages Wendy and your story this week. Of course I love the one with the black cat, and that awesome spider web. Happy Halloween!

Both spreads are great, Wendy. I like how you incorporated the falling leaves and the colors you chose to go with the story. They are great for Alison's theme at AJJ. Of course, you know I have to love the second entry because of the cat. Thanks for sharing.
