Thursday Journal with Neet

Tim Holtz snarky comment this week is  'People think I'm shy, but I really just have no interest in talking to idiots' To tie this in with Jo's theme of Nature on Art Journal Journey, I have the set the scene outdoors in Hazels local park. Hazel is taking her dog Blake to play with his favourite tennis ball as he will have plenty of room to run around and hopefully be too tired to do anything but sleep in the afternoon while Hazel gets down to mark her classes test papers. Hazel was really hoping that she had picked a time when the park was virtually empty of people who were wanting to stop and chat and tell her how wonderful their dogs are and how their barking was annoying their silly neighbours. The list went on and Hazel  was going to do her best to avoid them, she had more important things to think about. As she managed to get Blake to bring the ball back to her she saw on the pathway in front of them coming towards them. one of the most annoying of the people she wanted to avoid, so she threw the ball as far as she could into a large clumps of trees and carefully hid behind the largest tree trunk she could find. She knew it was a bit mean, but as she explained to Blake, "people think I'm shy, but I really just have no interest in talking to idiots" Blake tilted his head to one, hadn't clue what she said and wondered why she wasn't throwing his ball.

Love the story and a perfect way of bringing in the snarky comment.
Hope all is well with the two of you. Ready for Christmas?
Hugs, Neet xx

Hazel and her dog are great, and I like how this week's story is set in the park. Nice nature Wendy. And I like this week's quote too. I'll try to remember that one. Although it would be rude to say it to some people. :) Thank you for joining us at AJJ for Jo's challenge, and have a wonderful rest of your week. hugs-Erika
