The saying this week is 'Today was going great until...people. Tom, Missy, and their daughter Kitty were in their back garden keeping an eye on two little blue birds that were a potential dinner item. They were trying to teach Kitty how to sneak up on the birds and then make a quick pounce. Kitty was doing really well and they were very proud of her. Unfortunately next door lived Butch a very miserable cat who was spoilt rotten by his owners. The neighbours garden was very dark, so sometimes they couldn't see where he was and Kitty was frightened of him. This particular day he had been hiding and they couldn't tell if he was outside or not. All of a sudden, just as Kitty was about to pounce on one of the birds, Butch's owner shouted for him to go in for his supper which was salmon today. The birds were frightened by the loud voice and flew away out of reach. Well said Missy "today was going great until...people" It looks a like cat biscuits for their family today.

Fabulous! A fab background and a great story to accompany. I love how you have related it to cats catching birds and brought the 'human element in.
Hugs, Neet xx

I hope those bluebirds don't become dinner for the kitty family. But I do like your page and how you incorporated Alison's theme into your story and page. Thanks for joining us Wendy. I hope July is going well for you. hugs-Erika
