For Every Inchie Monday this week I have sewn the eagle, the National bird of Germany, and drawn a cornflower, the National flower.
The eagle looks more like a demented goose, but time ran out and the more you try to alter such a tiny piece of sewing the worse it gets.

I rather like your 'demented goose' and had no idea that Germany's national flower was the cornflower. Your posts are very informative.
I knew it was edelweiss for Austria from watching the "sound of music " but was unaware that the cornflower was the one for Germany....I love that we add to our encyclopaedic minds with the inchie challenge!
