Every Inchie Monday -- Equador

We are off to South America this week to the country of Equador. I have once again chosen to do the National bird and flower. The bird is the Andean condor and the flower the rose.
My youngest daughter took her year out before university in Chile, teaching English, and I went over to see her. It's a fabulous country and when we went down to Patagonia we saw condors in the sky, and a baby one sitting on a rock, quite close to the boat we were on.

I am not a great fan of roses, I cant smell them. But I do love the condor. You did an awesome job on both of them

Lovely idea of the condor, brought Simon & Garfunkel's song "el condor pasta" to mind!

Uhoh! Sally's comment gave me an earwurm!
Lovely inchies and the story is wonderful...so many places I would have loved to see. A nephew spent some time in Chile, travelling about alone. He loved it and would go back in an instant if he could. Such an interesting part of the world, South America. Dx
