Gosh, Google didn't give many workable images for this one, so I went with a flag and the paw print of their national animal, the lynx. For the sewn one I did the national flower, the dog rose. We have them growing in our hedge, and very prickly they are as well. In a bit of a rush with this as I am away for a few days.

I didn't know that the Lynx was "their" animal...it really is interesting looking at all the different aspects of the countries we visit. I am really enjoying looking at the history, and Romania has such a lot (compared with Australia, anyway), Dx
That is great interpretation. Love them both.
Great inchies, the dog rose is beautiful!
Not a Dracula in sight....phew! I like the lynx on flag idea as well as the dog rose, hope you enjoy the time away.

Nice take on the theme. I dont think I would like a prickly flower in my yard. I have enough with the thistles! But a lynx is a pretty animal to have and the flag is great
What a beautiful inchies.
