Every Inchie Monday -- Crab

This week we are still at the seaside with the crab. My stampbord one is shrink plastic and for the sewn one I used some leather with hand stitching.
When we were on the Isle of Skye last week we found a lovely quiet beach and I found a few lovely crab shells that managed the trip home without breaking. Luckily the crabs were not at home.
I have some hermit crabs in my marine tank, and two of them are covered in long green algae, so they look like hippies with long dyed hair. Perhaps I should have used those for my inchie.

You never fail to make me smile with your comments - I love your description of hippie hermit crabs!! Super crab inchies this week - love the leather one - perfect legs and the stamp board one looks like it's got a face on the shell!! Love your collection of crab shells - aren't they wonderfully different? Hope you had a great time in I o Skye. Love Jenny

Wonderful inchies...I like that you have done two different types, and I love your shell collection...it must be moulting time around Skye! I'm with the others...I would really like to see your hermies with their mermaid tresses! I hope your trip was wonderful...somewhere I will never now visit in person, but I have been rereading some of Peter May and Ann Cleeve books recently so thanks to them I can travel to the area vicariously and whenever I like...Dixx
