This page started out with a white background with blue and orange spots and circles on. I had no idea what to do with it, and as I am running out of pages, I decided to paint it brown, not a good idea, not only do I not like brown very much but it didn't cover the spots and circles very well. The next not so bright idea was to paint it with white gesso, that came out all streaky and was worse than the brown. I was going to forget the whole thing, and stick the two pages together and find another one. In the end I had some lunch and a brain wave, and used a stencil that looked a bit like mosaics and used Dylusions white paint. That sorted the first layer out, and I could then put my brain in gear and decide what to put on it. I went the Roman way, and finished it by midnight.

Fantastic ideas Wendy and it made me laugh for sure
Love Chrissie xx
That's brill. What a good idea to think of mosaics when using the squares. True inspiration yet again. Love the figures what gorgeous heads. A touch of Teesha Moore.
Hugs Neet xx
The mosaic idea was brilliant and we'd never have known about your struggles with the background if you hadn't told us. Love the text and the figures.
Fabulous and fun, Wendy I do so enjoy seeing your Thursday pages, you always add great words.
Yvonne xx
