Oh boy, these are getting difficult. I used shrink plastic for the stampbord one and just did the head catching a fish for the sewn one. Then my two scanners didn't work, so have spent an hour showing hubby how to use my iMac, nearly drove me to drink. ( I'm allergic to alcohol so that would have been a bit drastic)

I love herons - they are almost ugly but beautiful at the same time. You've made excellent jobs of both your versions. Glad you didn't have to resort to drink!
Both the inchies are fantastic and you are so good with shrink plastic
Love Chrissie xx
Lovely herons and such detail in such a small space, just lovely.
Fascinating birds that stand so still just waiting for their food! It would never work for me lol.

Two brilliant heron inchies.
Men can drive one to drink. Next time just craft dont drink! Love that you got a heron with a fish!! love it
Lovely, both of them...so much detail...Dixx
Both your herons are great - the stitched one is terrific with an eye and fish and so much detail on such a tiny space - I really struggled with mine this week - just too much material for such a thin long bird. Love your stampboard one too - great detail.
