The Craft Barn Dictionary Challenge -- J + a dragonfly.

For the letter J this week I have chosen the Jay bird. I distress inked the background and stamped a tree in a sepia ink. The Jay is responsible for many of the oak trees in Europe, as it doesn't manage to dig up all the acorns it buried for the winter.
I printed some images and added some real jay feathers and two small dragonfly charms.

This is a great take on the twist this fortnight. Your jay is wonderful and I learned something about both jays and your country as well. You have created a fabulous tag.

Lovely tag - I love jays and don't see them often now.

Your dragonflies look in their element with the birds, so that's that issue sorted out! Love your scene and beautiful birds.

Beautiful tag. The birds are very pretty. Most of the jays around here are the bluejays like the feathers. I've never seen the other ones.

Great tag - great composition, and the dragonfly charms were an inspiration!

Well, I did not know that about the Jay and the acorns. We don't see them very often but I remember spotting one last year. A great choice of word and the dragonfly charms work well with the birds.
