Love those little African huts - what a sensible solution to the challenge.
It's been so lovely & warm here in the Alps that I feel I am in one of your African huts! 36C in full sun today....

Sounds like you did your research as to what a village had to contain in order to be called a village, Wendy. I agree with you, not trying to fit those into an inch. Nice little villages you made!
Great little villages. I like the first one. The painting is just perfect.
Did you try to bring a church to your inchie? I did and I failed. Love your inchies they are brilliant without churches and big buildings.
I'm trying to do my inchie and Barry is looking over my shoulder so his comment of your inchie was how nice for you to feature the village where you first met Peter!!! Seriouly Wendy I can't believe we've gone for the same thing so I love your huts!!
Good job on both inchies.
Yes, churches, etc were beyond me too! Good idea to do huts - love the roof (rooves?) of the sewn one.
Really clever inchies Wendy. Love the roofs
