I went to stay with a friend for a few days and we made an Autumn accordion book. The base is pelmet vilene, covered with tea dyed fabric, lace and organza. Some of the pages I stamped a few images with tea dye distress ink. The leaves are cut out from pelmet vilene and painted with acrylic paints, and sewn on with free machine embroidery. We printed some Autumn sayings onto fabric and added them to the pages.

Fantastic Wendy and great to combine some sewing with the stamping
Love Chrissie xx
Wow, absolutely stunning!!! I love the effects you achieved! Autumn is my favourite time of year, and you have captured it so well here! Stunning the way the leaves turned out!!
I love this book, it's a real treasure. I am always drawn to leaf shapes - they are so attractive and I love the way you have used them. The tea dyed fabrics really add to the whole autumnal effect.
A fabulous project Wendy, lots of super autumnal things to see here.
