Gecko is the word for this week on Evey Inchie Monday. For the stampbord one I have used shrink plastic with a painted background. For the sewn one I have used French knots to make the gecko's scales. He looks a bit cross

Fantastic French knotting! Both are great
The stitched one is so clever and I like the shrink plastic one as well.
I remember trying to get a photo of a gecko when I was on holiday years ago. I got lots of shots of cracks in walls!
So smart to use French knots for the texture. Great pieces!
