For this piece, I used two reed diffuser boxes that had a drawer type construction. I glued them together and covered the box with some Tim Holtz paper. For the front of the drawers, I used two Fresco paints and crackle glaze, and then added two of Tim's fancy drawer plates with a bead in the middle to open the drawers with.
I used a stencil with texture paste on two sides to give some texture and then added cogs and some stamped sayings of paperartsy's. I painted some die cuts of butterflies ( Tim's) and then covered them with rock candy crackle glaze ( Ranger)

Wonderful project, Tim would be proud! Do I spot some Mixed Media Thinlits being used? I have those on my wish list along with the book plates... Love the stencilled layers and the colourful butterfly is the perfect final touch.
