I had just completed another page for my Book of the sea, when the theme for TIOT came up. How lovely it would be to relax in a beach hut, and forget selling houses and packing boxes. Again the base fabric is calico, and the beach hut cut out from some fabric from Empress Mills. The sea at the bottom is a few strips of tatty scrim, embroidered with beads.

This is so pretty. I have always wanted a beach hut but some are nearly as expensive as a house! Your book is going to be wonderful.
This looks so inviting, it would be lovely to be there and just relax. Thank you for sharing it with us at TioT's.

A fabulous project Wendy, love this little scene and the addition of the scrim gives a great texture.
